APRICOT OIL

Apricot oil is a rich emollient that is packed with nutrients which support, strengthen and repair the skin. Antioxidant-rich emollients like tocopherols and phytosterols (found abundantly in apricots) moisturize the skin and prevent it from environmental damage caused by free radicals. Additionally, apricot oil is high in beta-sitosterol- which has anti-inflammatory properties, and oleic acid- which aids in moisture retention and helps keep the skin supple and boost radiance.

Skin benefits of apricot oil

Deeply nourishing

Vitamin A, C, E and potassium are found abundantly in apricot oil. These nutrients deeply nourish and repair the skin

Protecting

The fatty acids present in apricot oil provide many protective benefits for your skin. For ages, omega oils have been used to enhance the skin's natural protective barriers. The concentrations of linoleic acid (omega 6) and oleic acid (omega 9) serve to nourish and protect the skin from damage.

Anti-aging

Apricot oil is known to catalyze cell turnover in the skin, pushing the youngest skin cells to the surface and making the skin appear youthful. The Vitamin A found in apricot helps to plump the skin by providing important support to the skin cells, while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Long lasting hydration

Apricot oil is a potent emollient that lubricates the skin by pulling moisture to the surface. This is great for dry and flaky skin conditions.

Strengthening

Apricot oil, when taken daily, will nourish and allow your skin to work properly, regardless of your age. The skin is protected against free radicals, which accelerate the indications of aging.

Anti-inflammatory

Because apricot oil is rich in a number of anti-inflammatory properties, it can aid in the relief of painful skin problems including psoriasis, acne, and rosacea. When you experience a flare-up, use apricot oil-based products to promote healthier skin and relieve stress.
